NSA Convention- Chapter Leadership Session
Chapter Leadership at Convention kick starts the Convention with an educational opportunity for chapter leaders to network and continue to explore the issues and situations that are commonly experienced as a leader serving on your chapter board.
Camp NSA
In 1998 the NSA Board of Directors approved funds for a chapter leadership training camp -- a weekend designed to hone the leadership skills of chapter presidents-elect. In November 1998 NSA's International Center located in Tempe, Arizona hosted the first-ever Camp NSA.
Camp NSA is designed to bring together committed volunteer chapter leaders and centralize their experience with other volunteer leaders and NSA headquarters staff. The mission is to create a strong relationship that strengthens communication, increases cooperation and heightens the experience that the individual member has in the local chapter environment. Incoming chapter presidents will learn valuable leadership and association management tools and discover opportunities to serve at the national level.
Camp NSA is held annyally the week before Thanksgiving in Tempe, Arizona. The program starts, Friday afternnon and ends Sunda at Noon. For more information about Camp NSA, Click Here.
